    At 6R Upland Kennels our mission is to provide the every day hunter with a dog they will enjoy hunting behind for years to come, We take great pride in our Moesgaard's bloodline and knowing that the puppy you purchase will have the drive and hunting ability to impress even the toughest critic. We hunt behind our dogs every pheasant season and sometimes its hard to decide which dogs to take because any dog in the kennel makes it a great hunt. This is not as much a business to me as it is my passion. Since I was a kid I wanted to own a German Shorthair. My uncle would come up from Texas to pheasant hunt and I would get to take days off school to hunt with him. The first time I watched that dog slam on point I just had to have one. Well it took 18 years to get the first one and Thanks to Rod Boggess I got an awesome female, then a male and that male became my best friend. He has passed away but he is still in my memories forever. I was taught the business by a man named Darrel Keenan who was in the shorthair business for 50+ years, so you can see we have a great deal of history with our dogs. Some people say my training methods are old fashioned but I say if it isn't broke don't fix it.
